Fridays of Lent at St. Anthony of Padua Parish

Fridays of Lent at St. Anthony of Padua Parish

We warmly invite you and your family to join us every Friday during the Lenten season for a meaningful evening of community, prayer, and spiritual reflection at St. Anthony of Padua Parish.

Each Friday evening begins with time to gather in fellowship over a Lenten meal from 4:30–6:00 PM or our traditional fish fry from 5:00–6:30 PM. After sharing a meal together, we come together as a parish family to celebrate Mass at 6:00 PM.

Following Mass, we continue our Lenten journey with the Stations of the Cross at 7:00 PM, a beautiful and prayerful devotion that invites us to walk with Christ through His Passion and reflect more deeply on His love and sacrifice.

Whether you are coming with family, friends, or on your own, we encourage you to take part in this special weekly opportunity to slow down, pray together, and grow in faith as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

Welcome New Parishioners!

Welcome New Parishioners!

All new parishioners are invited to a Welcome Ministry Reception. The reception will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Immediately following the 6am, 8am, 10am, and 12pm masses in room 215 & 216. There will be light refreshments and you will get a chance to meet some of our ministry representatives.

We regret to inform you that our beloved Fr. Sam passed away about an hour ago at the age of 87.
Fr. Sam was truly a renaissance man who found joy for 46 years as an educator, Julliard trained actor, and, most importantly, as a Roman Catholic priest.
He was present for so many of life’s “moments” for each of us: weekly Eucharistic celebrations, Confessions, weddings, funerals, special blessings, lunches, and dinners. After 60 years as a priest, most of his service in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico, there was very little he hadn’t seen or done. He loved the Church: he loved each and every one of us.
These are some photos that he shared with some recently when he celebrated his 60th anniversary as a Roman Catholic priest back in May of this year. If you have photos of you, or your family or ministry, with Fr. Sam, please upload them in the comments.
Fr. Sam will be truly missed. Funeral information will be posted here and on the website, when it is known.
Thank you, for all that you have done to spread Jesus’ love to the world.
Requiem æternam dona ei, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat ei: Requiescat in pace. Amen.
