Recruiting for Filipino Choir: San Pedro Calungsod Choir

We are currently gauging interest in starting a Filipino/Tagalog choir at St. Anthony’s. If there is sufficient interest, we will start a group. You will be notified by e-mail.

While we are starting out, this choir will sing one afternoon liturgy a month, depending on interest. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will still be offered in English by our parish priests; however, the music will have a definite Filipino twist. This choir will combine with our other choirs for large parish celebrations (Christmas Eve’s Midnight Mass, Easter Vigil, etc.) and will become an active part of our parish’s developing, but vibrant music ministry.

This choir will be for those that are in the 9th grade +. Unfortunately, we can not accept children younger than 9th grade at this time. All members will have to meet volunteer guidelines as established by the Diocese of Las Vegas.
