Please note that the evening Mass in English will be celebrated 30 minutes earlier than normal to accommodate the anticipated larger-than-normal crowds before the 7 PM Mass in Latin.
Only the 5 PM Mass will be streamed on Ash Wednesday.

His Excellency, Most Rev. Gregory W. Gordon, VG, Auxiliary Bishop and Vicar General of the Diocese of Las Vegas will celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 5:30 PM at St. Anthony of Padua. All Catholics are invited and encouraged to join us for this special liturgy that will begin outside (weather permitting – Narthex if, not possible) with a candlelit procession. The Feast of the Presentation of the Lord is also known as “Candlemas Day,” or the Christian Festival of Lights.
At 7 PM, Fr. Robert Herbst, Judicial Vicar and Chancellor of the Diocese of Las Vegas, will celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass, or Extraordinary Form, in Latin, at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.

Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI passed away on New Year’s Eve at the age of 95 at the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in the Vatican Gardens. Pope Benedict served as Supreme Pontiff from April 19, 2005 to February 28, 2013. He was the first pope to resign in over six hundred years. There will be two Memorial Masses for Pope Benedict. The morning Mass at Guardian Angel Cathedral will be celebrated by Bishop Thomas and concelebrated by the bishops and priests in Las Vegas. The second Mass will be in the evening, for families and those unable to attend the 9 AM liturgy at the Cathedral, at St. Anthony of Padua in Las Vegas.
