Lenten Revival with Fr. Cam

Lenten Revival with Fr. Cam

“If then my people, upon whom my name has been pronounced, humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven and pardon their sins and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Join us from March 27 thru March 29 for a Lenten Revival with Fr. Cam.

During the Lenten Revival, Fr. Cam will take us through the Bible as we prepare to celebrate the mysteries of the Paschal Triduum the following week. Come with your Bible, notepad, pencils, and open heart.

See Fr. Cam’s video invitation below, starting at the 1:30 marker of the video.

Fr. Bob to retire; Fr. Cam appointed Parochial Administrator

After nearly 40 years of active priestly ministry, our beloved pastor of the past ten and a half years, Fr. Bob Puhlman, retired on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

His Excellency, Most Rev. George Leo Thomas, Ph.D., Bishop of Las Vegas, has appointed Fr. Camillus Ogaraku, MSP, as Parochial Administrator of St. Anthony of Padua effective February 1, 2023.

For more information, please read the letters, below, from both Fr. Bob and Fr. Cam. We have also included the video excerpt from this past weekend’s Mass where both Fr. Bob and Fr. Cam shared this news.

Parishioners are invited to join us on Saturday, February 18 at 9 AM for a Mass of Thanksgiving recognizing Fr. Bob’s ministry to not only St. Anthony of Padua, but all of the parishes that he has served throughout his nearly 40 years of priestly ministry. There will be an open house reception open to all from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, February 18.

Let us pray for both Fr. Bob and Fr. Cam as they both begin new journeys in life with the USCCB’s Prayer for Priests:

Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests.
Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.

Help our priests to be strong in their vocation.
Set their souls on fire with love for your people.

Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.

Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.
Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.

Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.

Amen.
