Adoration
Hours (Monday Through Friday Only)
The Adoration Chapel is open Monday through Friday, starting immediately after the 9 AM Mass. Benediction takes place nightly at 6:30 PM, following the 6 PM Mass. Please note that the chapel is closed on weekends, Holy Days of Obligation, and the First Friday of each month when Adoration is held in the main church.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) emphasizes the significance of Eucharistic Adoration, noting that the Church has a ritual for it: the Rite of Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction. This ritual extends the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament present in every Mass, where we hear, “Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.” Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament follows the sacrifice of the Mass and deepens our longing for communion with Christ and the Church. The Rite concludes with the ordained minister blessing the faithful with the Blessed Sacrament.
