Adult Confirmation

Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation together form the sacraments of Christian initiation. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church explains:

“Preparation for Confirmation should aim at leading the Christian toward a more intimate union with Christ and a more lively familiarity with the Holy Spirit—His actions, His gifts, and His promptings—in order to be more capable of assuming the apostolic responsibilities of the Christian life.”

At St. Anthony of Padua, Adult Confirmation Preparation includes weekly classes, reading, prayer, and active participation in parish life. The goal is to help each individual grow in their relationship with Christ and His Church in anticipation of receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Adult (18+) Confirmation:

We currently hold two sessions per year for adults seeking Confirmation only. Sessions take place on Monday Nights from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, with one session in the fall and another at the start of the new year. Specific dates will be announced in the bulletin, so we encourage parishioners to stay updated there.
